One to One tuition provides a bespoke service that is perfect for many situations including:
- Advice before getting a puppy or dog
- Pre-vaccination advice and early puppy training e.g. toilet-training, crate-training, nipping etc
- For puppies and dogs who would be shy, distracted or reactive in class
- To cover particular topics e.g. Loose-lead walking (heel) or recall
- To fit in with your own timetable or other needs
- To provide reassurance for those days that don’t go quite right!
What’s included?
- My preparation for your visit
- My travel to and from your home, which is usually the best place to start training your dog (or to see your proposed new puppy set up)
- An appointment spent observing your dog, discussing your needs, demonstrating and practicing my recommendations.
- Bespoke notes detailing what we’ve discussed and step-by-step instructions for the exercises I’ve suggested.
Training or Behavioural Adjustment?
- Training is about teaching your dog to respond to a word e.g. ‘Sit’ or ‘Come’.
Your dog is happy in their surroundings but just needs to be taught what these words mean.
Training appointments are 1 hour long and cost £59.00 - Behavioural Adjustment is for dogs who are worried, scared or have other emotional needs, before they are able to learn the language of training. It can address unwanted behaviours such as mouthing and barking.
We’ll discuss your pre-completed questionnaire and anything relevant in your dog’s Vet notes.
Initial Behavioural Adjustment appointments are 1.5 hours long and cost £89.00 - Additional appointments for Training or Behaviour Adjustment are 1 hour long and cost £59.00
- Training Bundles of 3 x 1 hour sessions cost £150.00
- Behavioural Adjustment Bundles of an initial 1.5hr consultation plus 2 x 1 hour sessions cost £180.00
You can choose to have as many or as few lessons as you like but please be realistic and understand that the more you put in, the more you will get out. We can work on one specific need or move from one to another as things develop – entirely at your speed.
